Hello all,
I have an ASUS rt-n66u running Shillby Tomato version tomato-RT-N66U_RT-AC6x--138-AIO-64K.
The config is a "straight forward" NAT between my lan and my ISP with some port forwarding some some services inside my lan and a OpenVPN server. I can provide further details if required.
All works well until I enable the IPv6 on the wan interface (that is, change the Service Type as per the image attached) because when I do that I get the dnsmasq restarting every two seconds (meaning that the text bellow is repeated every two or three seconds apart).
Things still work, but weird things start happening like the management web server coming up with empty replies and so on.

Apart from that issue and the weird behaviour of the web interface, even the IPv6 is working fine. For now I have disabled the IPv6 to make sure the web management works fine and prevent this sluggish behaviour the dnsmaq.
Any clue on how to troubleshoot who is killing dnsmasq and why?

ps: I'm not 100% sure that the file I used is the one I mentioned, but the version on the about page is: Tomato Firmware 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-138 K26AC USB AIO-64K

Światłowód + mediakonwenter. Ekranowana skrętka nie jest wymagana, taką sytuację już zastałem. Zamierzam ją wymienić na zwykłą. Da to coś?

a ta skrętka ekranowana o której piszesz to jakiś wkopany przewód do bramy/furtki/kamer y zewn? Jak tak to jego też przez zabezpieczenie podepnij.

no to pora zabezpieczyć kable LAN zabezpieczeniami przeciwprzepięciow ymi - tanio nie będzie. Jak przychodzi ci internet? Skrętką czy światłem? Jak skrętką to zacząłbym od tego.

Ponownie padły mi wszystkie porty sieciowe w routerze - to już 3-ci w 6 m-cy. Podejrzany to ekranowana, nieuziemiona skrętka - 12mb. Czy jest to możliwe?

Kupowałem Asusy n10u albo n12d1 ale nie widzę ich, chyba już nie produkują, Chodzi o coś nowego i taniego. Transfery niewielkie.

@overflow2 patrząc po dostępności funkcji w nowych kompilacjach, to chyba nawet WRT54G/GL jeszcze ma OpenVPN, albo jakiś odpowiednik... zależy, na jakie transfery liczysz.
